INNOVATIVE FINE CHEMICAL

We are proud of GW Tech, the challenger of
fine chemical industry.

Rocket Propellant Additives

A bonding agent is a substance used to improve the mechanical properties of a composites by increasing the adhesion between polyurethane propellant particle matrix, which is effective with Ammonium Perchlorate in butadiene binders.

Polycene (Burning Rate Accelerator)

Polycene is burning rate catalyst which leads to a higher burning rate with low pressure exponent without migration, vaporization and oxidation during missile manufacturing and aging. Polycene unlike ferrocene derivatives doesn't have potential risk of the dangers. Also, Polycene allows it to be fully miscible with standard HTPB (Hydroxy Terminated Polybutadiene).

Percent volatile < 0.1 %
Hydroxyl index, meq/g 0.32 ±0.05
Viscosity ≤ 1000 poise at 25 degrees Celsius

TPB (Solidifying Catalyst)

Triphenyl bismuth(TPB) has been used as the solidifying catalyst for butyl hydroxyl propellant of high combustion velocity. TPB can lower solidifying temperature and optimize solidifying time for pot life, as well as there is not any by-effect for its processing performance and mechanics properties. In addition TPB can be also used as the catalyst for ethylene polymarization into cyclooctatraene, formaldehyde polymarization, the curing agent for polycyclochlorides, and other some monomers’ polymarization etc.
